Hi everyone! We're leaving LA in about 4 hours. I am so pumped!!!
One thing I've always struggled with is letting go. But God is gradually showing me that I can let go -- let go of my fears, my desire to control things and situations, and my worries -- by trusting in Him. I'm kind of nervous especially since this is my first time leaving the country, but God keeps reminding me to trust, trust, trust! Let whatever happen, happen -- it's all His will. I'm so excited to be with my team-mates too - I'm looking forward to playing Speed-Uno (but not Nertz! Sorry, ABSKers ;P) and growing together!
I just want to give a big shout out to all of our supporters. Thank you so much to my parents, family, friends, and strangers, without whom our mission would not have been possible :)
Prayer requests -- for safety, trust, the orphans we will be working with, and His will to be done.
