Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

DJ: As we're making final preparations to head out to Costa Rica, I wanted to send a little thank you to our great cloud of witnesses - those who are supporting us and praying for Costa Rica, Portantorchas, and our team. You are part of our scraggly, motely crew of 6 getting on a plane tonight. You are joining in with us and becoming a part of God's work in Costa Rica. And so as we get it started, let's all fix our gaze squarely on the author and perfecter of our faith and not the little discomforts and annoyances that are bound to come up in the next two weeks and threaten to take our focus away from Him. That's our prayer for this team of 6 and for y'all at home as well. Glad you could come along for the ride.
